Styl modern farmhouse w krakowskim mieszkaniu

Krakow flat with elements of modern farmhouse style. Take a peek inside!

Modern farmhouse is a style that is becoming increasingly common in interiors. This does not only apply to houses located in the countryside or suburbs. The style is also appearing in flats in city centres. This makes it possible to live in the urban jungle while having a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The design for the classic interior with idyllic elements was prepared by Magdalena Gajda, owner of the studio Gaja Architektura Wnętrz and her team.

The modern farmhouse style consists mainly of natural materials used for finishing and arranging the interior. It is these, combined with beige, white and delicate pastels, that create a space friendly to its inhabitants. – I was looking for a solution to combine an idyllic atmosphere with the centre of Krakow, where the flat is located. As the investor was keen to draw on the modern farmhouse style, the task was not easy. The idea of arranging a bright and spacious flat with classical elements turned out to be the most appropriate. As a result, we achieved a timeless interior,” explains Magdalena Gajda of Gaja Architektura Wnętrz.

The kitchen is a kingdom of white, beige and oak. Quartz has also found its place, and the kitchen worktop was created from it. The stone was used for the plinth, which is combined with tiles on the wall – a reference to the classics. An additional decoration is the brushed steel handles of the kitchen cabinets. The tall cabinets were made of oak veneer stained dark brown. A very practical solution is the idea of creating a hidden storage space just in this built-in. Inside, the cabinet has been lined with veneer, inside of which there is also a top, also made of quartz. The oak table and chairs with seagrass braid invite you to celebrate family meals and spend pleasant moments with friends.

Our client was very keen to introduce the colour blue into the interior. I therefore decided to paint the sideboard in this colour. It was placed next to the kitchen, but is also a decoration for the living room,” says Magdalena Gajda.

In the living room, the dresser and the bas-relief hanging above it from the Ladnini Relief Collection attract attention. The white carpet from Carpet and More highlights the smoky oak floor.

In the bedroom, shades of grey and beige promote tranquillity and relaxation after a busy day. The main feature here is a built-in under the window made of veneer and rattan. Completing this interior is a lamp from Gubi with a marble base and linen curtains, which also adorn the living room.

In the hall and bathroom, the cement mosaic laid on the floor is particularly noteworthy. In the bathroom, on the other hand, an oak cabinet adds elegance. The modern farmhouse style combines idyllic motifs with modern inspirations, which can be freely developed according to the clients’ needs and preferences. These are always most important to the Gaja Architektura Wnętrze design studio.

About the studio
Gaja Architektura Wnętrz – “I know that mutual trust is the most important thing in cooperation with a client. That is why I start work on a new project by building relationships and getting to know the needs of the person who entrusts me with their space for arrangement. The interior of a flat or house should harmoniously harmonise with the interior of its occupants and respond to their needs, which is why I approach each project with empathy and sensitivity. I have many years of experience in interior design. I work with a professional team of architects and contractors, as a result of which I can offer ready-made house designs for purchase. These are 70m2 houses that do not require planning permission. They will soon be available in my shop.” – reads the website of Gaja Architektura Wnętrz / https://gajadesign.pl/
