Ramen z klocków LEGO / Michał Duda

Ramen made from LEGO bricks. A Pole has created a set that is about to go on official sale!

Ramen made from LEGO bricks? Why not! Michał Duda is a lover of Danish bricks, who once again proves that the constructions that can be made from the famous bricks are extremely diverse, and when putting them together, we are only limited by our imagination. The latest set designed and made by the Pole consists of 2597 and was entered in the LEGO IDEAS competition. Thanks to your votes, ramen made of LEGO bricks has a chance to go on sale officially. It is also worth noting that this is not Michał Duda’s first project. Previously, we had the pleasure of describing the LEGO Scheilber Power Plant (SEE HERE), which was also submitted to the LEGO IDEAS competition. It didn’t make it then. Maybe this time, thanks to your votes, the Pole’s work will end up in the homes of millions of LEGO lovers around the world? We are keeping our fingers crossed!

LEGO IDEAS is an international competition which aims to design and create all kinds of objects, buildings or structures made exclusively from LEGO bricks. The entries submitted by participants are put to an online vote. Each project, after receiving 10,000 votes from internet users, goes through to the final round, where a jury made up of representatives of the Danish company assesses them in terms of aesthetics, as well as the possibility of implementing the set for sale. The jury’s assessment is based on a number of factors, such as the strength of the construction, the level of difficulty of laying, and aesthetics. Economic aspects are also important

This year, once again, the LEGO IDEAS competition was joined by Michał Duda – an employee of the Faculty of Geographical Sciences at the University of Łódź, who designed and constructed a LEGO Ramen set. His construction impresses with both creativity, precision and aesthetics. What captivated us most about the Ramen with LEGO set were the shrimp, eggs and distinctive crab sticks

“I designed and built the RAMEN with exactly 2597 LEGO bricks (of which 274 hands went into building the noodles themselves). The idea is to have a lot of ingredients in the model – so that it can be ready…i.e. built in many ways, just the way everyone likes it – and in a vegan version and with Chashu bacon.” – explains Michal Duda

We encourage you to take a closer look at Michal Duda’s work, and to vote for his proposal. If he manages to surpass 10,000 votes, his work will make it to the final round. If the set goes on official sale, Michał can count on entering the pantheon of official LEGO builders, as well as a share in the profits from the sale of the set. We’re keeping our fingers crossed and casting our vote!
